 In this session, we’ll break down the key components of a P&L statement, helping you decode financial jargon and uncover insights that can transform your business strategy. You’ll learn how to spot opportunities to increase profitability, control expenses, and respond to changing financial trends effectively. Whether you're looking to optimize daily operations or scale your business, a strong grasp of your numbers will give you the confidence to make data-driven decisions that enhance long-term success.
Registration fees may be waived for qualifying small businesses thanks to a partnership between the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), UW’s Office for Business & Entrepreneurship, and the SBDC at UW-Stevens Point.
To qualify for a fee waiver, you must meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
  • Small Business: An owner, employee, or staff member of a Wisconsin-based business currently operating (pre-venture businesses are not eligible) with fewer than 500 employees.
  • MSBB Recipient: An owner, employee, or staff member of a business or organization that received a Main Street Bounceback Grant in 2021 or 2022.
Please note: Attendees who register at no cost through the Main Street Bounceback Training Program are required to attend the webinar and complete a brief post-event survey. A UWSP SBDC representative will follow up with the survey after the session. Failure to meet these requirements may impact your eligibility for future training opportunities through this program.
